Fasadgruppen (FG)

Fasadgruppen Group AB is the largest-scale provider of sustainable façade solutions in the Nordic region. Their service offering covers everything concerning the exterior of a building, from plastering and masonry to installation and renovation of roofs, windows and balconies; both for private and public customers and for the residential, commercial and industrial markets. Fasadgruppen was founded in 2016 following the merger of STARK Fasadrenovering and AB Karlssons Fasadrenovering, combining more than a century of operating experience between the two companies. The main goal of ​​the merger was to be able to provide a better service at a national level without losing independence, autonomy and individual competence in their respective local markets. Since then, Fasadgruppen has grown mainly through acquisitions, integrating new local units with an extensive track record in façade construction/renovation projects. Fasadgruppen currently has more than 40 branches and more than 1,400 employees spread across Norway, Denmark and, above all, Sweden, where they are leaders in market share and where nearly 50% of the group's business takes place. Thanks to Fasadgruppen's scale, the company is one of the few Nordic players with the necessary skills and competence to participate in projects of different complexity and scale.

Fasadgruppen's services are clearly oriented towards environmental sustainability, mainly reducing a building’s energy consumption through a partial or full façade renovation Thermal insulation or patented ventilation solutions like SmartFront may reduce energy consumption in older properties by 50% to 75%. Furthermore, renovation services for windows, balconies and roofs (~75% of the business) reduce noise levels, avoid moisture problems and, above everything else, increase the property value, so customers can think of these services as property investments rather than expenses. The increase in a property’s value indirectly cuts down costs for the customer, which helps respect the renovation cycle of a façade.  For energy saving purposes – but especially for safety requirements – windows, balconies, roofs and all different elements included in the Fasadgruppen service offering must be renewed every 30 to 50 years.
